What is the role of the Chartered Accountant of a Work's Council?

The French institutional framework includes legal rules and regulations which are the basis of the relationship between the companies and their staff. The French Labour Code is founded on all these rules and regulations.

Concerning the representation of the staff, the French Labour Code requires in particular the creation of a Work's Council when 50 people at least are employed by the same company.

The Work's Council is in charge of the following matters:

the management of the Social and Cultural Activities (SCA). The company puts up money for these activities. They may be as different as staff catering, sports and leasures, mutual help and culture.
the running of the company in its various fields (economical and financial, labour conditions, professional training).
